Joining Buffy in her fight against the undead are members of the so-called Scooby Gang. The Scoobies include Willow, a computer hacking witch; Xander, a wisecracking wiseacre; and Anya, an ex-demon with a propensity for social faux pas.
Watching over the group and Buffy in particular is ex-librarian Giles, an erudite British gentleman with a fondness for arcane, mystical reference tomes. Mesmerized by vampire Ethan Rayne's reading of the Book of Ancients, a coven of vampires from different countries has descended upon Sunnydale by way of the Hellmouth. These creatures of the night are raising hell in various spots around town, including the old mansion, the graveyard, the zoo, the cemetery, the sewer and the city streets.
As the Scooby Gang's key member, Buffy Summers, you'll run, jump and slay your way through eight levels of vampire-infested action. Once a vampire is down, you must stake it and watch it turn to dust. You can also throw the undead, block hits, roll on the ground and perform super leaps. If you get knocked down, a vampire will jump on you and drink your blood. No matter which level you are playing, you will face only one vampire at a time.
Arrows point your way to each successive bloodsucker. Throughout the game you can find soda cans that will enable you to do super punches and kicks. Paint cans and other items are scattered about for use in throwing at enemies. In between each level you can watch a series of cut-scenes featuring dialogue between the characters. One scene even refers to Angel, the Buffy spin-off featuring her ex-boyfriend, a vampire with a soul.
Angel's secretary Cordelia phones to warn Buffy of a dream that Angel has had in which Buffy is in danger. A game of Buffy the Vampire Slayer ends when Buffy's life bar has fully depleted. After each level, a password appears, giving you a save point for after you shut down your game system.

Pokemon Shining Pearl - Nintendo Switch 5. Super Smash Bros. She then meets the Scoobies at the UC Sunnydale cafeteria. Giles tells them that either Dr. Furui is hiding something or is a classic absent-minded professor, having claimed to have no idea where the performers are staying.
The Scoobies discuss that they haven't seen any trace of Ethan so far. They'll stay on campus to keep an eye on him; he must be connected with the celebration and the party is tonight. While patrolling, Buffy enters the Initiative facilities to help them and slays the vampires from the various covens she encountered before.
She meets Willow again, who tells her that Dr. Furui has disappeared and Giles found an obscure passage in an old text: he thinks only the covens' leaders are powerful enough to use the book.
Buffy keeps patrolling to find these vampires. Buffy goes to investigate the construction site of the new Anthropology building, where she finds Angel. He says he worried about her and has an idea where Ethan might be based on the portal from his dream: a Hellmouth. One vampire wouldn't easily open the Hellmouth alone, but, with the book, a gathering could. To use the ritual in the book, a sacrifice of a group of humans must be made. Buffy tells Angel to warn the Scoobies to get everyone away from the multicultural party, while she'll search for Ethan underground.
She finds a hole into a tunnel illuminated by torches, then goes through the path into the Hellmouth. Slaying the coven vampires on her way, Buffy finds Dr. Furui from afar at the end of the tunnel. He removes his mask and reveals to be Ethan, who hid his face with makeup and spells. He says she won't be able to stop the most powerful vampires in the world gathering to destroy it, while Ethan will be arranged immortality to survive this apocalypse. Buffy goes after the vampires, who are all wearing cloaks, and slays them all through the Hellmouth.
After fighting a larger vampire with wings, the Hellmouth is deactivated. Outside the hole, she meets the Scoobies again, who have gotten the partygoers to safety. She tells them she found Ethan posing as Dr. Furui, but he disappeared after she took care of the coven masters. Xander says that she saving the world calls for a celebration.
